Underfloor Heating Done Properly
Underfloor heating turns the whole floor into a gentle, even radiator. Instead of hot spots by the wall and cold corners across the room, warm water circulates through pipe loops laid across the floor, so the heat rises evenly from underfoot. It is comfortable to live with, frees up the wall space radiators would take, and because the system runs at a lower flow temperature it pairs well with modern high-efficiency boilers.
Most of our underfloor work is part of a renovation, extension, or new floor build, where the pipe loops are laid onto insulation and clipped down before the screed or floor build-up goes over the top. We set the loops out to suit the room, connect them back to a manifold, and balance each zone so you get consistent temperatures and independent control room by room.
Every installation is planned around your property and the rest of your heating system. We look at the floor construction, the insulation, the heat requirement of the room, and how the underfloor circuit ties into your boiler or cylinder before we quote. Because pricing depends heavily on the floor area, the build-up, and whether it is a single room or a whole floor, we give a fixed written quote after a survey rather than a guess over the phone.
As a Gas Safe registered, family-run team we handle the connection to your heating system, the manifold, the controls, and the commissioning, and we test the loops for leaks before anything is covered over. You get a tidy, properly balanced system and the same engineer looking after the job from survey to sign-off.
